How are E.B.S Nets Secured?

Fixings

Grippa Clamps can be used as an alternative to ropes as a method of securing nets, they are designed to attach to the bottom flange of horizontal beams at 1.8m maximum centres and conform to BSEn 1263-1.

Rope

Saftey Nets are supported at 2.5m maximum centres each side of the span, by using 11.2mm diameter nylon tie cords.  The tie cords pick up border cord of the net and are secured with a series of knots around the structural member.  Attachment points for netting should provide support for a point load of 6KN.
