Which type of nets do we use ?

The Safety Nets deployed by E.B.S. are A2 Class û System S, they have a 5mm x 100mm square mesh made from a high strength multifilament polypropylene (PPM) which has an energy absorption level of 2,3 kJ, each has a robust integral border cord of 12mm polysteel rope capable of withstanding a 30kN strain complying with the European Standard BS EN.1263-1.

Why use Safety Nets?

Highly recommended by the HSE (press release E252:98) Safety nets offer complete safety for all trades and personnel where other fall arrest systems are not viable, practical or used. Not only can they prevent injuries to personnel falling from high level working platforms, but with the inclusion of debris netting they can also provide protection from falling objects on all construction projects.
